Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

In Canada this week, oot and aboot. Working in Glace Bay Nova Scotia eh. Staying in Sydney too, nothing much to do. Almost didnt make it, no thanks to dose rotten people at Sunwing Airlines. Long stoory. I did eat 2 amazing meals here though. Haddock last night and Bok Choy Tofu tonight. I need to try the Donair while I'm here. It's everywhere eh. A Nova Scotia staple. I was told I need to visit Bras d'Or Lakes or the Cabot Trail. Maybe, If I have a enoogh time. Looks a lot nicer than where I am.

Someone here is rolling in the dough with these damn signs. They are everywhere.

Sydney Harbour at sunset.

Boats and the Governor's Pub in the background. It was built in the late 1800's.

Sydney's gigantic fiddle. I dunno either. Compare its sizeto my rental car in the background.

Ah yes, my Chrysler 300 for the week (weak).

NICEGRAFFITI

You can buy Rockstar with vodka in it here in Canadia. I enjoyed it.

I only ate 1. Tasted like a Squirrel Nut Zipper, but it didnt stick to the wrapper.

Last weekend, last show.

Hurrican Hannah came to visit us. So did Chuck Berry. Dovi made the trip down from Williamsburg in the storm to see Charles Berry play. We all had our doubts whether or not Chuck would show up. Hell, not only did he show up, but he went on early. He played like an 80 something year old man, but still awesome to see. Moments after this photo, it started to rain. Umbrellas went up and it was hard to see the ole coot on stage, but we could still hear him butcher his once great songs. Still, it was Chuck Berry. All 40 minutes of him. Poof, and he was gone. Seriously.

Later that night, The Suburban Sweethearts played our last show under that name and with Joe Yerry. It was an excellent show, probably our best. Hmmmm. More from us soon. Here's a photo taken by Karen Mann.

The next day, I recovered mostly from the night before. We, The Lindelof's, did go back down to Raleigh Wide Open to hang out with the kids and see the (loooong) fireworks. We also saw Lou Gramm. You know, the guy from Foreigner. Foreigner. Foreigner. Say it 3 times fast. I dare you.

This truck is parked outside our practice space and cracks me up for some reason.
